How to Do Newspaper Nails

How to Do Newspaper Nails
@the-beauty-nerds

This also works with maps, music, and pictures you print from the internet! :)

What you will need:
- newspaper, map, music, pic, etc.
- newspaper, magazine, or cardboard box to protect the surface
- base coat
- Q-tips
- nail polish remover
- rubbing alcohol

(It's always a good idea to wash your hands first)

Step 1
- Put down the newspaper, cardboard, magazine, or whatever you want to protect the surface with.
- Apply a base coat to your nails. Let it dry.

Step 2
- Paint your nails with 2 coats of a light nail polish. Let it dry.

Step 3
- Pour the rubbing alcohol into a little jar.
- Dip each nail into the rubbing alcohol for about 5 secs each.

Step 4
- Take a small piece of the newspaper, map, pic, etc. and press it to your nail firmly.
- Remove the paper from your nail carefully.
- Take a Q-tip and dip it in the nail polish remover. Clean up your skin around the nail.

Step 5
- Apply a top coat. Without this, the ink will rub off of your nail. This will also give your nails some extra shine.

Hope this was helpful!! :)
